GRAVEL & GOLD was started in 2008 as a project with Nile Nash and Cassie McGettigan. We opened in a tiny space at 112 Treat Ave. in San Francisco where we sold vintage items and a selection of American made classics as well as California Crafts. As the shop developed and grew we moved into 3266 21st Street where there was more space to hold workshops and show a greater selection of well made items. Around that transition we also began producing very small numbers of our own clothing designs centered around fabrics we designed. 

For our line, Gravel & Gold Goods, I produced four textiles by hand drawing them full scale. Some of the items we made with those prints are shown here. 

Gravel & Gold has been a woman owned, woman run business and continues to support the work of a great group of individuals creating fantastic work. It is now owned by friends Tomra Palmer and Holly Samuelson.
